blank pages in books

I really don't understand that at all....its really just a waste of paper. I was at chapters today with my grandparents and my dad as i am often (we'll get to that later) and I was looking through some books and they all have like 5 blank pages at the end. What do they want you to do? Write some more of the book for them? Get some autographs? I really don't get it, it's killing trees people! End rant. So now back to my grandparents. Every time I ever got a report card since I was in elementary school, as far back as I can remember, my grandpa has taken me to chapters. It's his way of encouraging good grades and since I love reading, it always worked. Well I would probably get good grades even if he didn't take me to chapters but it's a fun tradition that I look forward to when my grandparents come down from Deep River. If you don't know where that is, google it, not many people have ever heard of Deep River since it is a very very small town up north. It's about seven hours away from where I live. It's where my dad and his siblings grew up, and every Christmas me and my family would go up there. Just down the street from my grandparents backyard is this awesome little park with what I used to think was a massive tabogganing hill, but now it really doesn't seem that big anymore. We don't go up north for Christmas anymore though, since my aunt and her family could never come. So we switched up the tradition a little and now every year we go to her house in London (Ontario, not England, although I wish it was in England). Anyways, I am super excited for Christmas (one month today!!!) and tomorrow my mom is going to be fighting the crowds of black friday in the states. She always gets amazing deals there, wayyy cheaper than shopping in Canada....now if only I could think of what to get her for Christmas....
Check back later, next post I'll give you the lowdown on me.

Welcome to My Blog

Hello there, people of the blogging type, I'm Jenn and I would like to welcome you to my blog. I'm in highschool at the moment and am still trying to figure things out, like what I'm going to do for the rest of my life. I'm interested in math and science and I would love to be a doctor...well actually, the dream job is a athletic doctor for a pro hockey team but since I doubt that will ever happen, I'll settle for just doctor. I'm huge on music, according to the dumb learner test I had to take on the first day of biology, I am an auditory learner and like to keep rhythms to remember things, too bad that really doesn't matter in biology. I also like to bake, hang out with my friends and I also play piano, and sometimes alto saxophone when I feel like it. I used to be a highland dancer, and I used to row for my school. Hopefully this blog won't be too boring, check back a later date for more updates on me...
